Records Center
Records Management Services is proud of our facility. We currently store over 50,000 boxes for our clients in a safe and secure environment that utilizes the space for storage in the most efficient way possible. By building our shelving to the "ceiling", we are able to lower the cost of storing individual records. Shelving is built so that records are not stacked over 3 high in order to protect the boxes from being crush under the weight of boxes above it. In addition, boxes are never stacked more than 3 deep in order to ensure that access to any particular box can be done quickly and with a minimum amount of effort.
A professional records management facility is designed to store the maximum number of boxes in the least amount of space, while still maintaining accessibility of records. One way of accomplishing this is building as close together as possible. The aisle shown is wide enough to allow access by an order picker, but is no wider than necessary to accomplish this purpose. By proper utilization of space, savings are created in the costs of storage.
Records located at Records Management Services do not sit on the floor in order to protect them from becoming damp, thus damaging their contents. A concrete floor becomes damp at certain temperatures and humidity levels. By raising the boxes off of the floor and onto their own shelving, Records Management Services prevents a simple change in weather from damaging your valuable records.
